VISIONAIR-E has also developed a fully sealed IP rated Smart Glass Panel for frameless glass shower walls and cubicles. The seamless nature of Smart Glass Plus means that panels can be positioned side by side making them ideal for glass walls and partitions, creating a very minimal and contemporary look. VISION X Smart Glass uses a switchable inter-layer protected by being bonded between two sheets of glass, making this type of laminate smart glass safer and more durable in certain applications - bathrooms, hospitals, clean rooms etc. This durable solid state technology replaces the need for old-fashioned blinds or curtains, making specific areas easier to clean / sanitize while offering greater control and comfort within any room. A simple ON - OFF mode switches the glass from clear (transparent) to frosted (opaque). The switching function can be controlled using a manual switch, remote control, phone app, automation system or ALEXA voice activation device. The standard thickness of VISION X Smart Glass is 1/2" (12.5mm), other thicknesses and glass options are available including bulletproof glass and lightweight polycarbonate panels.
LAMINATED GLASS
VISION X Smart Glass is formed through the lamination of the smart film between two pieces of tempered glass for full protection and a long lasting product.
LOW VOLTAGE
Low Voltage – Visionair-e Smart Glass runs on 48–60 VAC, powered by a Visionair-e transformer that steps down standard 110V supply.
UV STABLE
VISION Smart Glass blocks up to 99% of UV rays, helping protect interiors and reduce heat gain.
LOW POWER
VISION Smart Glass consumes just 5VA per square yard, keeping energy costs minimal.
FIRE RATED OR PLEXIGLASS
Fire rated glass or plexiglass glass options are available.
CUSTOM SIZING
VISION Smart Glass is available in widths up to 71".
