VISION XL Smart Glass is an energy-efficient insulated double / triple glazed unit with integral switchable layer for both homes and commercial buildings. The latest generation of switchable smart glass windows combines the benefits of improved thermal performance with the immediate control over privacy / security. This durable solid state technology replaces the need for old-fashioned blinds or curtains offering greater control and comfort within any room. The (PDLC) switchable layer is coated down on the inner surface of one panel of glass, then this is combined with a second panel of glass to form a sealed unit. VISIONAIR-E's Switchable IGU panels utilise a warm edge spacer bar with an argon-filled air gap in between to offer greater insulation and performance, with optional low iron / low E coatings to provide the most energy-efficient smart glass windows on the market today. This energy-saving product is completely solid state requiring no maintenance or special cleaning requirements - you can treat them just like normal glass windows. Imagine living in a world which offers you complete control over your comfort/privacy/security all at the flick of a switch, without the fuss and clutter of blinds or curtains. We also offer a triple-glazed option, which combines all the benefits of triple glazing with switchable technology. Our switchable triple glazing boasts impressive efficiency, offering superior solar heat gain, thermal insulation, sound protection and even enhanced security. A simple ON - OFF mode switches the glass from being clear (transparent) to frosted (opaque). The switching function can be controlled using a manual switch, remote control, phone app, automation system or ALEXA voice activation device. VISION XL double-glazed IGU's are manufactured to order in panel widths up to 70.86" (1800mm) and available in two standard thicknesses 0.7" (18mm) and 1.1" (28mm) - custom sizes available. INSULATED GLASS UNIT
VISION XL Smart Glass is compromised of two layers of glass with the smart film contained within the smart glass unit.
LOW VOLTAGE
Low Voltage – Visionair-e Smart Glass runs on 48–60 VAC, powered by a Visionair-e transformer that steps down standard 110V supply.
UV STABLE
VISION Smart Glass blocks up to 99% of UV rays, helping protect interiors and reduce heat gain.
LOW POWER
VISION Smart Glass consumes just 5VA per square yard, keeping energy costs minimal.
FIRE RATED OR PLEXIGLASS
Fire rated glass or plexiglass glass options are available.
CUSTOM SIZING
